Young Entrepreneurs Program

Jeff McClusky & Associates believe in giving back, and we are committed to excellence in learning, teaching, sharing and mentoring. The goal of our Young Entrepreneurs Program is to work with the brightest minds in the music industry and foster a mutually beneficial relationship. This is a chance for extremely committed, hungry, and enthusiastic students and individuals to be a part of a new wave of the music business.

Positions we are looking to fill for Spring 2012 include:

Radio Promotion - The core business of JMA is to promote recording artists to radio. We will mentor one or two radio promotion hopefuls who aspire to this as a profession.

Webmaster - The webmaster will update all JMA-related websites and oversee their elements of social media, photography and video. The three JMA websites include JMA, the Nelarusky charity concert series and the internet home of recording artist Rachel McClusky.

Rachel McClusky/Artist Development Team - Members will help develop artist Rachel Mcclusky as she completes her first full length album over the next few months. Assistance is needed with media and social networking, blogging and building out various components of digital marketing and web site outreach.

Early Exposure - JMA continues to evolve its early exposure department, including the development of sync licensing, specialty show radio promotion, and other media outlets. This is an early-stage department that has been developed by former and current interns and part-timers and will be an exciting piece of the future.

Executive Assistant - Assist with the day-to-day tasks in the office; these include running the phones, assisting with e-mail dictation, project management and other tasks working directly with Jeff McClusky.

Accounting - The Accounting intern will gain valuable experience while working side-by-side with our company comptroller. They will learn how small businesses handle all accounting functions including weekly reports, payables, receivables, and preparing statements. In addition to accounting duties, this intern will also have a chance to participate in projects related to artist management, radio promotion, event planning, and other music and entertainment business opportunities.*

*Requirements for Accounting Intern:

College senior and/or MBA student preferred
Schooling and/or work experience in the accounting field
Interest in working with the company comptroller
Strong passion for music and interest in the music industry
Some experience working with Quickbooks is preferred, but not necessary
Must be able to work 2-3 days per week (16-24 hours)
