A comprehensive, in-depth music industry experience with an interactive curriculum based on meetings, speakers and field-trips. Additionally, associates do office work such as answering phones, data-basing and making CDs.

Industry insiders frequently visit JMA's Chicago office to meet with associates. Speakers who visited this summer's associates include Q101's Marv Nyren and Cornerstone's John Herron. Associates also attend concerts to get a behind-the-scenes view of what goes on. This summer's associates attended or will attend the Cornerstone Festival, Rothbury, Ignite Chicago, Pitchfork, Lollapalooza, Warped Tour and more.

The summer 2008 program is from July through August, however, the associates program is an ongoing, year-round program.
